Happy Clients

I have Erb’s Palsy from a birth injury which affects my arm, neck, and upper back. In addition to this physical limitation, I work for a large corporation which inevitably has me in an office sitting at a desk for the majority of my day. Due to my environment, as well as my injury, I struggle with pain in my neck and shoulders as well as a general feeling of stiffness and misalignment in my entire body. I started seeing Chris a few years ago and he has drastically improved my flexibility and range of motion. Chris is extremely skilled and knows what my body needs without me having to know myself. Not only are the areas of my body affected by my Erb’s Palsy immensely better each time I leave a session with Chris, but my entire body is as well. Chris is personable, immeasurably talented at what he does, and it is truly a joy to be treated by him!

As an athlete who rows and does yoga, I use specific muscles that are not usually exercised in more common sports. Chris hits almost every hidden muscle that I cannot get to myself, and sometimes hits ones I've never felt before. He definitely has one of the best massage techniques in ATL. Highly recommended!

Throughout my journey with chronic low back pain, Chris has provided me with exquisite care and attention both in terms of my physical and emotional needs. Chronic pain comes with complexities and he manages to be extremely professional and genuinely caring during every appointment I have with him. His massages feel amazing and have a lasting affect. I have complete confidence in his knowledge of the body and how to treat my injury in a way that not only helps me to feel better, I actually feel GOOD. Chris is magical.

I have been looking for a massage therapist like Chris for years and feel so fortunate to have him in my world. Chris is unique in so many ways. His skill set is wonderfully varied. I can come in with sports related pain and he knows exactly how to help. I can come in with an ergonomic issue from sitting at work and again, he knows exactly what to do, or I can come in having had a difficult week at work or in life— and again, he knows just what to do.

I’ve always loved and appreciated massage, but my experience is that the massage may be glorious and help for the day, maybe a little longer, but somehow Chris puts things back in place. When I leave my body feels like it moves differently. My range of motion is improved. I feel more in harmony.

Chris’ approach is methodical— he is constantly learning and listening to your body and finding ways to support health. He’s not just going through the movements of what should happen at minute 16 in a massage, but truly feeling and listening to his sense of touch in determining how he should approach the healing and how best to make progress. He somehow feels the areas of discord and then instinctively seems to know what to do. His understanding of anatomy is outstanding. There is never an improper placement of hands that hurts or pinches. He seamlessly works his way to all areas of need somehow sensing what areas of your body need his support on that day. I’m simply so grateful for his time, energy, and that I’ve found someone so incredibly skilled and kind.

Dear Chris,

My massage was amazing. You gave me a new appreciation of the fact my body is whole. I have trouble being still. You gave me stillness and acceptance…
